PRESENTATION.

Strauchon, who has resigned her post as pupil teacher in the TJrenui sahoo', in order to join her relatives in Wellington, was on Friday afternoon the recipient of a pressnt from her late pupils, Mr Pigott, chairman of the School Committee, in making the presentation (a very handsome dressing case) referred to the general regret, not only of the pupils but also the parents, in losing eo efficient and enthusiastic a teacher, and wished Miss Strauchon every success in her future. Heartily given cheers ended the ceremony, after which to honour the occasion the children were dismissed. Miss Strauchon also received a testimonial from the School Committee,
