He was a strong swimmer ! and was married. i Word was received from Tokonwrtt to-night that a man named Burns, aped about fifty and employed on MacDonald's station-, died suddenly while partaking o! dinner at the Tokomiru Hotel. No further particulars to hand. ; Auckland, March 3. A man named Thomas Oliver died 1 at the hospital from phosphorous poisoning, self administered. Walter K- ntwtll, employed by H. H. Smeet, was thrown from a cart, sustaining injuries from which he died.
