The Cosgrove brothers, of Waipawa, have enferfd for a quartette. The Wellington Garrison Bud, as* sifctid by local talent, will give aooncert at the Theatre Royal on the evening of Monday, 10th Mareb. The Denniston and Granity Grade Bands, from the West Coast, will ba .well up in the contest. As they «m coming from a long distance*, they tfa» serve 10 run into a place. Coming nearer home, our Garrison Band ifi putting in good work every evesine now, and should make thing* " hum."
Tho Phtone men are going under canvas?, Mr W. Coker having kindly granted (he use of his paddock to them.
The Dunedin Navals are a very solid lot.
Waihi's firm intention is to soore a win,
Keep your ear on Kaikourai. Pulmerston will tike a lot of beating in tho marching contest.
