UNIVERSITY SENATE.
FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunedin, February 24. The University Semateby nine votes to eight has decided that students for the JB.A. degree be allowed to take Latin or Greek aa one of the two compulsory subjects for that year. The Ad Eundem Degree* Cosamittee brought up a report recommending that Josspn Campbell, M.A., Sydney, be admitted M.A.; Augustus Edward Joseph Aloysius Kaogh, Royal University, Ireland, be admitted 8.A.; and William Hurst, 8.0.L., Durham, be LL.B, The report was made an order for the next day. The report of the Medical Committee recommends that degrees of M.B. and Cb.B. be conferred on Sydney Chalmers Allen ; B.Se., James Hamilton Hall Baillie B.Se., James Brp.gh Andrew John Crawferd; 8.A., Colin Huatly, Gordon William MoArs, Jessie Clarkson Maddison, and Frank Ferdinand Alfred Ulrich.
