Sydney, Djcptiibor 23, A woman mi:- d Dignan was attacked by plague at the Criterion Hotel; the Criterion Theatre was therefore closed last night. The Linfield case wis traced to Su sex-street. The block comprising Flis Majesty's Theatre has been relfased from quarantine, and the theatre was reopeced last" night. Two women named Gl'.uoit and Curran are plagued a- tha Criterion Hotel, and a man, Williams, in Sussex-street. Since November 29 cases have b«en reported. In the 1900 outbreak 155. cases were record* d in the firs', fifteen weeks, but the difference in season must be taken into account. In February, 1900, two cas?d were reported, while this February eleven esses have occurred. In the first outbreak the disease was worst during March, April, and May.
