PRESENTATION TO THE PREMIER.

PKR PRESS ASSOCIATION, Gbbyhouth, February 17. At a jublic meeting to-night, the following resolutions were unanimously passed:—" That a committee be formed to co-operate with othtr centre* in organising a colonial fund for a presentation to the Premier in recognition of Jiis se< vices, to the Empire in despatching contingents to South Africa; that the meeting affirms the principle that the tnbecn'ptions throughout the colony should be limited te Is, snd that the labour bodies, mayors of boroughs, county chairmen, and heads of all local bodies be asked for their kind cooperation in the matter; that it be suggested tbi-, the presentation be made by the Governor.
