A.O.F. DISTRICT MEETING.

At the Foresters' Hall on Tuesday last, the annual dietiict meeting wis held, JBro. H, N. Gold water, D.5.0.R., in the absance of D.C.R., Bro. R. A. Gill-spie, p.*> siding. It wns decided to present 13 o. R. A* Gi'lospie with a P.D.U.R. jew.il, and that hie name be placed .on the aunt board.

Hearty votes of thanks were puMd to Courts Taranaki, Wairok*, tad Pride of New Plymouth for the man oar in which the district officers and dele* [gates had b*ea treated, and to the retiring officers. Toe next meeting will b) held at Patea. O.her routine business was gone through and the mooting adjourned. The luncheon provided by Mr and j Mrs Clarke, of the White Hart Hattl, was highly appreciated.
