Two crews to start or no race. Three crews to stave or do second prize. All races to start punctually at advertised time. Any boat not at the s'arting point at the proper time shall be liable to disqualification for that event. Protests most be in the hands of the Secretary in writing within 15 minutes after the race. Each protest mast be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, which sum shall be forfeited if the protest is not upheld by tne Committep.. Entrance Fee 10 per cent, of the amount of first prize money offered for each event. Names, weights of competitors (including substitutes), and colours to be worn, mast be lodged at the time of entry All post entries ..to close on Regatta day at 12 noon) will be charged 5 per cent, on amount of first prize. Bookmakers will not be allowed to bet inside the enclosure. The Committee reserve to themselves the right to alter the order or pos pone any or all of the events, and add any regulations which in their opinion may be necessary. Entries for all Whaleboat Races close with the Secretary at the Foresters' Hall on THURSDAY, February 20th. *t 8 p.m. Entries for the Swimming Handicap Race close at the same time and at the Fame place. Band in attendance, t-'pecial and delayed trains will be arranged to suit visitors. THE ANNUAL REGATTA DANCE Will be held in St. Jo! n's flail on Regatta Night Good music; supper provided. H.
