Further developments of the Latham case show that Mrs Elliott confessed to her husband that she bad been unduly intimate with Latham. She assisted her husband to lay a trap to blackmail Latham. Elliott admits that his wife's story is correct, but denies that he had any hand in Latham's death. The original assumption that he committed snicide is again beiug accepted. Brisbane, February 5.
