On Thursday, at Awakino, I held my second sale; this season. Ther.i was a good yarding of both sheep and cattle, the former being a remarkably good lot, all looking very healthy and in splendid condition The cattle were mostly grown steers, no young stuff coming forward. Bidding for' both classes of stock was very s)ac!= and l'ttle business was effected at the hammer. After the sale, however, nearly everything was sold at fair prices.
