SIR JOSEPH WARD.
FEB PKE9B ASSOCIATION. Hokitika, January 17. Sir Joseph Ward, with Lady Ward, arrived at 6.30 p.m. from mouth, having travel]el via, Kumara, j Go'dsborougb, and Stafford. A large I assembly at the railway station lustily 'cheered the Minister, and to-night the visitors are being entertained at a bmquet by the Borough Council. There I was a numeroas attendance, iacluding a large number of hdies. The function was a brilliant success. To-morrow the Ministerial pirty will visit Kokatahi and stay the night at Rots. Sir Joseph delivers a political address here on Wednesday. The visirors are the guests of the Mayor whil-i in Hokitika.
