NOTICE is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council will be held at the Council Chambers, King-street, New Plymouth, on TUBSDAY, the 11th February, 1802, at 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of confirming a resolution passed by the Council on the 14th January, 1902, ordaining and making by-laws to be called "The Buildinjr By-law?, 1902," to come into operation and force on the 24th day of February, 1902; a*d also that the object and purpost of such proposed by-laws is to prescribe, regulate, and control the erection, alteration, and repair of buildings within the Borough of .New Plymouth, and the manner in which and the materials of which buildings Khali bs co structed; to prohibit the construction of, and repairs, alterations, and additions to, any building without a permit from an Inspector to be appointed by the Council, and to impose and require payment of fees for services performed by »uch Inep ct.or; and to impo'e penalties for breach of any bv-law.
