D*nse dust storms are sweeping across the continent from the west, accompanied by a hot wind, in numbers cf cases fo'lowed by destructive gales. Bush fi'es are also again causing much damage in many districts. Melbourne, January 22. A storm swept .across the cit7 in the early houw, doins much damage'to property. Several steamers broke loosp. The s'eamer Albert collided with the tug Hawk, and both were considerably damaged.' Adelaide, January 22. At Glenelff, the cutter B>ather Bell and several bo its belong to dubs were flunk. Much damage wa« also done to bouses and property by the storm.
