Mobky, secretary of the B md Contest Committee, has received numerous inquiries from persona resident all Dver the colony, asking for information as to accommodation avai'able, and dates, eta, of the contest. Messrs Hawks and Company, the well-known band iist.cnme.nf, makers of Landon, have donated a B flat corne"! as a sixth prise in the sole ition contest. Messrs Joseph Hicham, Limi'el, of Manchester, also donate a silver plated md engraved Glass A clear-bojp« oon- i tes'ing model B flat cornet, as a special prize, the conditions baiog that it >hall hecome the property of the solo B flat csroat player who scores the Mgheit point« in the solo playing in the two test selections and in the Jornet sola eomnett on.
