Ciptain Biogly, who hss b?en appointed Brigade Major of the new contingent, is an Imperial officer, and held la commission in the Royal Berkshire i Regiment. He nai (says the Post) apI pointed to the Defence Staff of JSTew (Zealand about the sane as Major Owen, nut as Captain Binglay was in South' | Africa at that time with his regiment land as the war was looming in the I horizon, he stayed on service, and saw a good deal of service with his regiment in the Transvaal. He came to the colony some eight or nine months ago.
