On Boxing D»y a man named Lindsay van found unconscious on the road near Karaka, evidently having fallen from a horee. Ho lay in that state for several days, and is now recovering, but appears to have lost his reason. Invekcauoill, January 8. Three members of a survey party, on the West Coist, a host 40 miles from Orepuki, named Lillicrona, Otwsy, and Humill, were crossing a river when they were carried out by the current amoT g the breakers, and the boat capsized.
