PRIMITIVE METHODIST CONFERENCE
PES PKXSS ASSOOIATHW. Wkulmotox, January 8. The ninth annual conference of the Primitive Methodist Church opened today in Wellington. Delegates from ajl over the colony attended. Officers were elected as follow*i—President, Mr.'o. M. Luke j vice-president, Kev, Q. Clements; seoretary, Rev. R, Hall; receivers of coanazional funds, Rev*. Ward and Dobbs. The retiring presi* dent, Rev. W. S. Potter, opened the proceedings, which were mainly of a formal nature. In the evening Rev.| C. Drake preached a conference sermon. The first draft of stations was pa«sed as follows: New Plymouth, Rev. J. Nixon; Wellington, Revs. G. H. Mann, J. Dambell, and W. J. Dean. Super*! numeraries: Wellington No. 2, Revs. J. Dawson and G.
