Tin.—Spot £ll2 7s 6d, three months' £lO6. At the trllow sales 825 casks were offered and 425 sold. Mutton, fine 31s, medium 30s 6d; beef, fine 34s 6d, mediam 31s. CHRISTOHURCH WOOL BALES. Chbistchurch, December 12. Abont 11,600 bales were ca*~.!ogued for t>day's wool sales. The bulk wag again of an inferior character. There was a good attendance of New Z 'aland buyers, and puces ruled as follows:—Greasy merino, medium to good, 6£d to 8J-1; inferior, 4d to 6d; half-bred, superior, 6d to 7id; medium ■!§ d to 6d; inferior, 2d to crossbred, superior, 3d to 5:1; me lium, 2±d to 4d; inserior, 2d to 3d; long wool, 2Jd to ; piece» and bellies, good, 3d to 6d; inferior, Id to 3d; locks, ljd to 3Jd. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company has received the following cable from ! ondon: —Frozen meat market: Canteroury mutton 3|l, North Island 2fd, first quality lambs 4Jd, second 4Jd. Stocks very heavy and demand stignant.
