CAVERSHAM ELECTION.
PES PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunkdiet, December 6. At a meeting of tba Workers' Pi I - tical Committee a ballot was taken** to tbe candidate to be put forward fop Oaversham, Four names wrrt submitted, and Mr P. Halley was eventually selected. Mr Halley is at present a member of the Conciliation Board. Mr H. D. Bedford, another candidate, addressed the electors this evening, and had a good hearing. would giw general support to Government measures, would support Bating on Unimproved Values, and is a Prohibitionist, By request no vote was petted.
