Tiw Isthmian Canal Commission recommends that the Nicaraguan Canal, costing one hundred and nicety million dollar-, be completed within eight years. The Panama Canal would take a decade to finish, and cost one hundred and forty-four million dollars, plus one hundred and nine millions for the purchase cf concessions.
