Sir William McMillian again protested against the Government sitting all night on so important a matter as the tariff, and at 2 o'clock this morning moved that the chairman leave the chair. The Opposition stonewalled until four o'clock this afternoon, when the tariff debate was resumed. i Melbourne, December 5. The duty on woollen pieces has been reduced to 15 per cent. A uniform duty of 25 per cent, has been placed on wearing apparel. i Received 6, 0.50 a.m. I Melbourne, December 5.
