KAWHIA REGATTA.
The Kawhia Regatta Club have an announcement in this of their annual regatta, to be held on January Ist, 2nd, snd 3rd. Special efforts are being made to ensure this popular fixture being a great success at,d attractive to visitors. The Maoris are working hard getting up competitive war dancers from teams from the several tribes in the vicinity. The prize list is an exceedingly liberal one, and patrons may depend on an enjoyable and interesting time. The fint and seoond days are devot d to rowing aod sailing events, and the third to a monster excursion and picnic round the hnrbou'-, I which contaii s many points of interest and beauty.
