PER PRES? ASSOCIATION. Dunedin, November 24. The Pukerau hotel was insured fur £2OO in the Standard, and the furniture and effects for £2OO in the same office. The fire is believed to have been caused by a defective chimney. Several inmates were only able to etcjpe in what they stood up in. ] Auckland, November 24. , W. C'eary's store and pjst office at Puhipuhi has been burned down. Tho causß of the fire is unknown. Nothing was saved but the books.
