Gunn bowled four "no balls" making his record one wicket for 40. South Australia won by 233 runs. In consequence of rain at night and during tbe morning, phy was not resumed till 2.30, the wicket being greasy. The not outs Reedman and Giffen, by careful play, raised the score to 186. Then a collapse came, Blyth keeping the ball well |up was very difficult to play, and Iha very quickly disposed of the others [The visitors began the second innings at four o'clock. It was little more than a procession. On the soft, much cut up wicket, with not the best light, Giffen proved irresistible, Travers also bowling with excellent judgment. Lilley's was a most meritorious perfonupce, under adverse conditions.
