The Association, in reply, deprecated the terms of MacLaren's messige, and added that it followed the M.G.C., and could not admit the propriety of the claim.
The Cup match which was to have been played between the two teams of tb« New Plymouth Ulub on Thursday last will be played in the Recreation Grounds on Monday next, as the day is a public holiday. Play will commence at 10.15 a.m. For the convenience of visitors and others afternoon tea will be provided at a small change.
