DECORATIONS FOR OFFICERS. FEB P8833 ASSOCIATION. London, November 4. At a dinner aboard the Victoria and Albert on Friday the King toasted the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall. He said he was deeply touched by the enthusiastic welcome accorded them by the colonies, and hoped the practical results would be to draw closer the strong ties of mutual affection, already existing with the Motherland. King Edward h s conferred the C.V.O. on Commander Winslove, of the Ophir, the M.V.O. on Optain Wemyss, of the same vesse', and Major Clarke, of the Koyal Marines. The Duke of Cornwall presentad a memento to every officer and man aboard the Ophir besides special presents to the officei s and heads of departments. Bishop Temple attended and the Te Deum was sun? at Canterbury Oathe dial as a thansgiving for the Cornwalls' safe return.
