PER PRE :S ASSOCIATION. ■Wellington, November 4. A man r.smed Cox wjs found drowned at Hippy Valley. It i? supposed he was looking for his horse during a flood. Ashbubto.v, November 4. An adjourned inquest on the young gir! Bella Gordon, who died recently after a miscaniage, was held to-day. Profetsor Bickerton's analysis of the contents of the s'omach, etc., showed no trace of any kind of poison. The weight of medical evidence showed that death resulted from congestion of lungs and diseased liver, and a verdict was returned accordingly. Dr. Maude dissented, maintaining that death resulted from phosphorus poisoning. Wanoanui, November 4. A two-yeai-old child fell into a bucket of boiling water on Thursdav, and in spite of medical treatment died to-day. Much sympathy is felt; for the parents, as only a short time ago another child was drowned.
