A HEAVY FINE.
PBB PBESS ASSOCIATION, Wellington, November 1. Gallate Brothers, oyster sa'oon proprietors, were to-day fined .£SO by the S.M. for telling liquor without a license to two probationary constable?, who had order* d stout and oysters at defendants'shop. The Court considered that witnesses for the defence bad committed wilful perjury, and for that reason made the per alty severe.
