J Two large steamers—the Oloncurry, bund outward to Calcutta with a I shipment of horses, and the Boveric, I inward from Adelaide—collided at the \ entrance f o the harbour. Both were j seriously damaged, the Boveric having J two large holeß in the port side, one t & extending below tbe waterline. The 1 r after hold rapidly filled, the bulkheads J alone preventing her sinking. The j a Oloocurry's bows were flattened on - both sides to the water's edge. A' l e number of plates were smashed, and' - ? the ship made a considerable quantity i - of water. Both vessels returned to the J t wharves, and are now discharging.
