Sir Hector McDonald left to-night for Wellington. He inspeoted the High School Cadets, and while oonplimenting them on tbeir smartness, said he hoped if he vi«ited New Zealand again he Would find tbem with more up-to-date weapons. He afterwards had a private chat with the looal volunteer officers.
