PUB PBESS ASSOCIATION. Neison, October 30. A poll toik place to-day relative to the remaining proposal of the City Council to raise loats for city improvement purposes. The prrposil to extend the waterwoiks st a cost of £ 15,000 was carried, but the remainder were negatived.
