Speaking at a dinner at Mansion House, in response to the toast of the " Imperial Forces," Lord RoWerta laid Ibe doubted if the army had ever bean more severely tried tban during the past two years. England was moat deeply indebted for the help given by the Uolonial Foroee, who had exhibited extraordinary intelligence, perseverance and determination, undergoing great hardships and privations without a murmur, and doing everything cheerily end in a most soldier-like manner.
