The Court-martial found tbat the wreck of the Cobra, was due to structural defects. Received 18 0, 43 a.m London, October 17. The Swedish Antartic expedition, commanded by Dr Otto Nordensjold, has nailed from Gothenbarg, Mr W. Willcoeks, diiector of the Cairo Waterworks, and designer of the Assouan dams on the Nile, is completing a survey of the head waters of the Vaal and Orange Rivers, with a view to initiating a va-t irrigation scheme. An affray occurred -between the Worcester and Durham regiments at Aldershot, a hundred men being engaged; Bayonets and ball cartridge were used, acd seveial men were wounded.
