PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Received 16, 5.34 p.m. London, October 15. Great Britain has acknowledged Habibullah Ameer. Lord Curzon has transmitted King Edward's condolences to Habibullah on the loss of his father, and his good wishes to the new ruler. ABDURRAHMANS LAST HOURB. Received 16,10.21 p.m. London, October 16. The London newspaper Pioneer's Kabul correspondent states that after a patalytic stroke the late Ameer summoned his family and notable men to his bedside on the 30th ult,, and asked them to make suggestions as to a successor. They nominated Habibullah. The Ameer then presented him with his sword, belt, precious stones, and a will containing instructions how to govern the country. He ordered the younger sons tn plica th" crown on Habibullah's head. The Ameer died on Ist October, but his death was not announced until the 3rd, to eoable Habibullah to arrange for a peaceful accession,
