OBITUARY.
Wb regret to record the death of another old settler, Mr Thos. Hamblyn, who passed away on Thursday at the advanced age of 9C years. Deceased was oue of the pioneer settlers who cine to New Plymouth in the Amelia Thomson in 1841, and was one of the first and best road-makers in the dietrict. For many years he has reeided at Te Henui, and up till compirativeljr recently was wonderfully active considering his advanced age. He survived his wife but a little while. Tbe funeral tak<s place to-day.
