Tn following teams have been picked to play on Thursday in the Recreation Ground in the benefit ma'ch tendered to Mr Carter, who was injured in the Auekland-Taranaki match:—
No. 1 (blue and white).-Full, Honeyfield ; three-quarters, Smi*h, Dr. Fookes, Rturmoy ; five eighths, W. Fookes, Roch; half, Jenkinson; forwards, Duffin, Bellrinrer, Hor.k, CDowda, Flatt, Priar. S. Smith, Eva. No. 2 (black). Full, Murphy ; three-quarters, Beckett, L. Allen, Ladner; five-eighths, Myno't, Morey; half, V. George; forwards, K. Gforge, A. Inveridge, Davidson, Dawrs, Stroud, Murphy, Sarten, H. Lovetidpe. Any player who is unable to take part in the match is rrqursted to inform Mr J. Elliott, in order that a substitute may be arranged for.
