Lord Kitchener confirms the Boers' heavy losses at Forts Italia and Prospect. Two of the TJ Battery guns captured by Boers at Yiakfontein have been recovered. Lord Kitchener report? that 1000 of the enemy pressed the attack on Moldwill for two hours with great vigour, but were repulsed with considerable less. Two British officers were killed and 14 wounded, and 31 men killed and 48 severely wounded and 66 slightly. Colonel Kekewich was twice slightly wounded.
