I'Rlt TRESS ASSOCIATION. London, October 2. Louis Botha has reached Bothasdorp. captured a. luge convoy at Milmoth, in Zululand, on Sunday, killing six native police and capturing their commander. De la Bey and Kemp, with a strong force, attacked Colonel Kekewich at Mouire 3 , in the Bustenburg district, on the 25th ult., but were repulsed. A patrol of Bush "VYlt Carbineers captured Field Cornet Kielly and a party of Boers en the Portuguese frontier. I Three Boer prisoners who escaped from Bermuda have been recaptured. A meeting of the United Irish League of Dublin app'auded a letter from Mr. William O'Brien, stating that if the English King visits Ireland the League will arouse a spirit which will force the conviction upon him that the people are disaffected to the core, and only n'ed arms and the training of the Boers to testify th*ir hatred of England's rule. Mr. John Bedmond made a defiant, fi°ry speech. Durban, October 3. The Dutch candidates at the Natal elections have been severely beaten. Paris, October 2. The Premier ig prosecuting a French pro-Boer paper for publishing offensive anti-British cartoons. Received 3, 9.22 p.m. Loudon, October 3. Lieut.-Colonel Lord column at Rooemankop killed five of Ooetzee's commando, including the notorious Field Coronet Dutoit. Commenting on a letter from Mr Reeves on New' Zealand's "payment for Dr Fitchett's paper the Times describes the supplement to the Review of Reviews a? a general historical sketch, and s*ys opponents are hardly fair in alleging it is laudatory of Mr Sed Jon's administration. Received 3, 10.40 p.m London, October 2. •After Colonel Kekewich's fight "at Moldwill six dead Boers were found in afield. A number were wounded, and ten taken prisoners. The killed included Commandant Tobias Boschoffj leader of Kemp's Scouts. The Boers retreated northwards. Major- General Plumer has prevented; Brand from crossing the Caledoh river; Cole ha* captured Commandant Dreyer, a Transvaaler. Sir Gordon Sprigg, Cape Premier, and Mr Bose-Innes, Attorney-General, have gone to the Transvaal to confer with Lords Kitchener and Milner, Broecksma was sentenced to death and will be shot at Johannesburg on the 30th. David Drapavosterloo, a prominent Burgher, has been, arrested in connection with *he Bime conspiracy. Received 3, 10.43 p.m. London, October 3. Lord Kitchener confirms the Boers' heavy losses at Forts Italia and Prospect. Two of the TJ Battery guns captured by Boers at Yiakfontein have been recovered. Lord Kitchener report? that 1000 of the enemy pressed the attack on Moldwill for two hours with great vigour, but were repulsed with considerable less. Two British officers were killed and 14 wounded, and 31 men killed and 48 severely wounded and 66 slightly. Colonel Kekewich was twice slightly wounded.
