This charming young actress made her first appearance at Daly's theatre, New York, sime five years ago, and at once jumped into public favour, all the leading critics being unanimous in their praise of her great histronic ability. As an exponent of Shakespeare's characters, Mies Waldorf has few equals on the world's stage,] and her first appearance in Auckland four weeks ago created quite a furore, The Herald and Star asserting that she was one of the most gifted actresses that has ever appeared in Auckland. Her advent here next Saturday evening will mark an epoch in the theatrical history of New Plymouth.
