FIRE ON THE PAPANUI.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. j Received 27, 10.37 p.m. London, September 27. The fire on the Papanui was extinguished, and all cargo in number three hold was badly damaged. The sheep are now being discharged, Wellington, September 27. Tin chiirman of the New Zealand Underwriters has received a jable message from the Victorian Underwriters Afsociation, stating that the fire on the Papanui, which put into Vig>, on the Spanish Coast, has been eztinguiihed. All tbe cargo in No, 3 held had bean Mriously damaged.
