Cattle.—At Waiwakaiho, on Tuesday, a good many young caUlc were yarde I, but bidding for calves and yearlings waanot so brisk as the previous sale and a good many lines were pissed in. There wis a full attendance and strong competition from all parts except American, as compared with the closing sales of the July series. Medium low crnssbreds, fine merino, and fine crossbreds sold at 7£, and extra fine merinos at 10 per cent, higher. The total qnantity of wheit and flour aflont for the United Kingdom is 2,390,000 quarters, and for the Uonticent 1,825,C00 quarters, Bank shares unchanged. At the tallow sales 1600 casks were offered a"d 1425 sold. Fine mutton, 325; medium, 295; fine beef, 31s 6d; medium Ss Cel. The wool pale* were animated, and opening rates maintained. The Amnrican risible supply of wheat is 44.776,0C0 bushels. SYDNEY WOOL MARKET. Sydney, September 18. The local wool sales reflected the London advance, and competition for the finer class of merinos and greasy was very keen. The market is firm and advancing.
