Excepting that he complained of being weiried with the large amount of travelling on the tour, he was apparently in good health till taken suddenly ill yesterday. He euooumbed today, to infiuenia and kidney trouble. DEATH 07 OOLONIL FBAMR. Thames, September 17, Colonel Fraser, the Sergeant***Arms, died to day. He wu compelled to return home after the beginning of the session by ill health. Previously he had a slight stroke of partly*'*, whioh brought on complications. He saw serves in the Waikato war and was Warden in the Thames district. He was elected to Far ia<nent three times; and was appointed 3ergeiot-at Arms seven years ego. Colonel Eraser was 73 years old. Captain Levy returned to Ne'son the day before his 1 death; but he was so crippled by rheaI mabhm that he had to be carried from ' the steamer to the Hospital.
