But the demand was considerably under-estimated—the copies reserved are already nearly exhausted. Hundreds who fail to send in their orders to-day will be disappointed, but they will have only themselves to blame. For several weeks these announcements have been made and everything has been done to give the offer the widest publicity. The claims made for " The Library " have been amply substantiated by the testimony of disinterested parties; many letters commending " The Library " and the terms upon which it is offered have been printed.. Sir Robert Stout (Chief Justice), the Right Hon. R. J. Seddon (Premier), Mr. Thomas Rowe (chief librarian), and scores of other subscribers to '■ The Library" have expressed their approval in terms which can leave no doubt as to the merits of the work, If you miss this opportunity you will afterwards regret it.
