CONCILIATION BOARD.

OHRISTCHUROH DRIVERS' DISPUTE. PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION. Ghbistchubch, September 13. The Conciliation Board today considered the dispute brought by the Drivers' Union. A large number of employers, representing a variety of trades, was cited. The Chairman said the Board would adopt the Dunedin award, given in a similar dispute, as a basis, and unless it was shown that conditions in Ohristchurch were diff-r----ent, would recommend its adoption. ,The Union objected to the Dunedin ' award, and so did most of the employers.

CHANGE of constitution. I Wellington, September 13. The executive committee of the Wellington Employers' Association has passed a resolution in favour of the* constitution of Oonciliition Board* being altered, to take the form of a conference of delegates from each side to a dispute, with an independent chairman.
