VITADATIO.
HOW IT WAB DISCOVERED. If is frequently a matter of wonder upon the part of the public how particular reme«He* classified generally wider the title of • Brtait Medicines hnt been discovered. It If well known thai this has bees more often effected by chance than by the mora patient ■nalysatlon of the properti«« of herbs. And let not the reader of this article sneer at the nse of the word " Chance " It would ba aitrwiwly dlfficalt to say how far thi« same " chance " has been instruments! in the dl«ooYeryof much that goes on in the scientific world, despite the dictum of the Philosopher that what is discovered by chance is •eldom of any value. Chance we are told led to the discovery of the Bontgen Bayß in Photography, and it certainly led to the no less important discovery of Vitadatio. Under what circumstances this actually took place in the first instance is and will ever remain a mystery; bat thi events which led up to its wonderful piopertfes becoming known and being presented to tho public are too fresh in the memoiesof its proprietors to be speedily forgotten. A certain gentleman in Launceston, Tasmania, found himself one day under an obligation to a gentleman of that town, and offered to place him in p'ssesnon of a secret whicb he had long held. This secret, ha declared, had enabled him for many years to enre his friends and acquaintances of long-standing diseases, and had k»pt him also in th<* best of health no to what was a ripe old a?e. Eventually the secret of a peculiar blend of certain herbs was revealed, and the medicine put to i severe practical tesf, which test, it may be stated, resulted in the moit extraordinary success.
From being the secret fad of tMa amiable old enthusiast Vitadatio gradually spread to becoming the popular remedy of a large number of people in Tasmania, until, »t length the demand becoming so great, negotiations had to be entered upon for an en; rmom supply to satisfy the tiaoig "f its 'ver increasing number of friend'. From Tasmania it spread to New Zealand, where it quickly became in such treat demand that a central depot for its distribution had to be established. Its history in Australia is •Imort to-> new to need recapitulation her*. 3Trom a modest start about three years ago it quickly panght the public ca'te, disease a?ter disease was conquerei by its peculiar properties, and it was evident from h"t six months workings that Vitadatio bad come to stay. The puMic are donbtless well accustomed to hearing of cures belnz performed by s-me patent medicine after th» med'cal faculty has despaired of success. But these cares appear chiefly in the advertisement columns of the daily newspapers, and it will but seldom bear the inrest'gation which a little publicity and enquiry makes. Vit»datio, however, has this advantage in its financial and commercial arrangements, that almost every one connected with if, from its energetic Australasian Distributor at its bead, down through all the depart-rents to the lowest office, all are able to testify what this wonder'nl medicine has done f or them. Mr. Palme', who is the Pol • Distributor for AnstraWia, will show incontestiole proof that he has been cur°d by Vitadatio, and by nothing else from that scourge, known as Hydatids, and this after hii case had V een given up bj all the medical men, whom he consulted, and after undergoing a painful op ration which wrs quite ineffectual. Yet after a curse of this medicine not only was he completely cured but he was accepted by a leading Life Insurance Company as a fi r st. class life at their ordinal rates. A similar storv can be told by others now employed by Mr. Palmer at his many branch establishments for the di«tributdon of this medicine, so that it is quite easy for the pnblic to satisfy themselves that all the cures claimed can be substantiated. One pecu'iarify of Vitadatio is to be found in the fart that the various herbs of which it is composed of grow in Tasmania only, as far ss is yet known, and are indeed peculiar to that healthy little island. It is perhaps in this ( fact that the reason mr.v be found why Vitadatio has not been discovered b fore in this very old planet of ours, where, it if stated, there <» nothing new under the son. Tasmania is about as old as Sydney, that is about 100 years, since our settlers have occupied it, so that it is not surprising that this remedy has only within the past few years been discovered. An advantage to our colonial population in purchasing this mrdicine lies in the fact that the manufacturing and distribution of Vitadatio employs many hundreds of people in all parts of the colonies, and that the money spent by the public docs not have to be sent to oth r places, but stays here. This, cf course, is but a minor point in comparison with the far more im portant fact that no matter wha'. your disease may be Vitadatio ha» prove-* itself to b» worth a trial. This is the main fact which justifies the confidence all people feel who have once given it a trial, and far outweighs any other argument which may be used in its behalf. For further particulars, 8.
