A WAYWARD BULLET.
CAUSES SOME CONSTERNATION. PCS PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, August 28. An extraordiniry occurrence is reported from Kilbirnie. Wbile a family who live at the corner of Goa street and Ch»rleß-sr.re9t were sitting at tea a bullet came crashing through the window and fell among the tea cups on the table. Luckily it inflicted no injury. The fact that it had practically become spent when it reached the house shows that it mus 1 ; have been fiied from a considerable distatce, and it is onj ctured tbat it came over the hill f(om somewhere in the neighbourhood of Newtown.
