BELL BLOCK BAND OF HOPE.

The above society held a very successful meeting in the hall on Thursday, 22nd instant. The president (Mr. T. J. Bennett) was in the chair. Veiy interesting and educative addresses were given by Kev. F. A. Bennett aad Mr. Dowle. The following programme was received by the audience with marked approval, which must have been very gratiiying to all concerned :—Miss Hoby presided at the piano; recitation, Miss Doris Dixon; trio, Miss Butt, Rev. P. A. Bennett, and Mr Waitai; recitation, Mr. Buttimore; song, Mrs. Hoby; duet, Rev. F. A. Bntmett and Mr. W. Waitai. After a very hearty vote of thanks had been passed to all the helpers, the Rev. T. J. Bennett offered the closing prayer.
