THE MAIDEN MELODISTS.

Under the control of Adjutant Garner the Maiden Melodists are appearing at the Theatre Royal to morrow and Monday. The Cimpany are louring this colony on behalf of fuuds for the Salration Army Refuge and Prison Gate H imes if New Zealand, and it is to ba h pad that tbe friends of this district will show their appreciation of this noble work by attending tha Sunday's services and Monday night's entertainment in large number*. We understand the Sunday's services will be of a special character. Sacred music and action songs are rendered and a* the Company possess young ladies who are proficient at the cornet, viol'n and I piano, a musical treat appears to he in store for all lovers of gjod music.] Silver coin collections will be taken up at the doors Sunday afternoon and bight. Toe Mcm4ay night's programme will consist of a very large and intubating programme of physical drills, aotiou and musical novelties. The Company possess several young ladies from New Zealand gymnasiums, and a Miss Mellvillie is reported to be very clever in handling clubs, and all the members are we'l-trained in all kinds of graceful and symmetrical I drills.
