PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, August 19. A building at Pftone, owned by G. T. London, and o:cup : ed by Odlin, r.onffctionir, w s destroyed by fire la~t night. lusurance: Building £2OO in Alliance; furniture, £IOO in North Que°nslacd. Tbe brigade smartly saved the adjoining buildings after the sides had taken fire. A fire occurred this morcing at n boarding-house in Boulcott-strcefc owned by tbe Compton estate?, and occup'ed by' Mrs Young. The upper part of the building was destroyed. Tbe house was insured in the Liverpool, London, and Globe for £3OO, and the furniture for £l5O in the New Zealand. Stratford, Augusti 19.
