One s ationed himself in front, and another near the door of the car, while a third threatened to shoot anyone who resisted or mad 9 a noise. They then relieved seven men aboard of money tanging from over Ll3 to a few shillings, and jewellery. They took the driver's box containing over two pounds and a quantity of tickets. One passenger attempted to resist, and was thrown on toe floor and a revolver so forcibly presented between bis eyes that is inflicted a nasty wound. The scheme w is well p'anned, and carried out in a i-pusely populated part of the line. A large force of p >lice was scouring the district within a short interval, so fur fruitlessly.
