PUBLIC notice is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in | County Councils under Section M 8 of the Counties Act, 1896, and in accordance with Section 37 of the Rating Aot, 1894, the Tsr&naki Connty Council will, at a special meeting to be hell on MONDAY, the 6th August, 1901, strike a rate and levy a general rate of three-farthings (}d) in the £, on th« rateable value of all rateable property comprised within the Moa, Waitara, Omata, and I Parihaka Ridings, in the Connty of Taranak.
